Freedoms Gunworks is proud to offer custom barrel conversions designed to work with the Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout and Stealth Hunter series of rifles. Barrels are available in 7WSM, .260Rem, .243Win, 6.5x47Lapua, .300WinMag, .308Win and most other popular cartridges. Our barrels are all quality match grade, hand lapped barrels made by Broughton, Benchmark, or Krieger. The profiles spec'd out on these barrels are a little lighter weight, but still a somewhat heavy contour. They are 1.250" straight for 4" then have a quick step to a palma style taper to .920" for a finish OD of .830" @ 26" which makes them much like a Medium Palma Contour. All barrels can be threaded 5/8"x24 TPI for attaching a suppressor or muzzle break. These barrels are endorsed by but not made by Desert Tactical Arms. We still offer a .5MOA guarantee on all our barrel conversions.

If you already have a SRS rifle in .243 or .308 (.473 bolt face), all you need to purchase is the bbl. and bbl. extension package to use our .308 or .260 conversions. You use your existing bolt and magazines for caliber conversions. For the 7WSM, if you already have the .300WM then all you need is the bbl and bbl extension. Again you use your same bolt and magazines, but if you have a .308 and want to also switch to the 7WSM (.534 bolt face) you will need the bbl, bbl extension, bolt, and magazine package.
